Dont buy an FX cpu now that ryzen is a thing
Pretty sure that requires DDR4, and he says he's reusing RAM.

Ram is p cheap
Youre better off with an haswell i3 if you really want to keep using ddr3

How will this setup hold up? I'm aiming for 60fps at 1080p mid/low settings for most games from the past 2 years. I'm also thinking of upgrading the twin gpus to just a singular gtx 1050 once i get a real job but GPUboss says my cards should mostly hold up against the 1050. Should I upgrade just because it is newer (and therefore better)?

Not good at all.
Atleast get an i3 and an rx460 as the bear minimum
Sli/crossfire is stuff

the g4560 is only around ~10% worse for more than half the price of an i3 so why even bother. All the other budget build guides have even replaced the i3 with the G4560. Is there a specific i3 i should be looking at? IIRC the recommended one was the i3-7300. What about crossfire is stuff? GPUboss also says that the twin 6870s should do generally better than the 460 except in clockspeed.

pentium g4560 is fine, it performs just as good as an i3 for half the price.

when you upgrade your gpu, go for a 1050ti or a rx 470, those will be the best 1080p budget cards you can get that wont be bottlenecked

also you dont need paste, iirc the cooler comes with its own tube / package

Some games, especially indies, are not optimized for it and if they are they only use maybe 40% of the secobd gpu.

And if they are it usually are tiple A games that are p demanding

I see, but most of the games i have been playing on my stuffty computer with some generic "AMD Radeon HD 7000 series" card have been doing fine at lower resolutions and low settings so 2 cards that are better will help a bit, even if the crossfire implementation is bad. It's just that I have the cards on hand and need a use for them. I'll be definitely getting a 1050ti or better once I get a real job so this build is just an expandable build.

Save up for something better anyways. Youll regret it and have the money you spend on that potato gpu is just wasted
Get a job or something idk. I workked for 10 days and earned like 800 euros

I can always just use the replaced parts in a home server build or just give it to a sibling
1050ti isnt a potato gpu, are you mentally challenged
i think they're talking about the hd 6870s

got a msi pc mate b350, 2x8 3000mhz corsair vengeance, and a r5 1600 that i'll clock to 3.7

$455 w/ tax. once i get it all set up this weekend (if the 1600 makes it on friday), the $400 gpu i got last summer wont be bottle-necked to hell and i'll finally be able to play fo4 w/ copious amounts of graphical mods at more than my current 30 fps (resurrection mod kills it)

hey guys i have an issue

i'm running a fairly new pc, i live in a studio basement with no ethernet ports so i'm relying on a wifi adapter to get internet
it's loving awful internet. i get like 1 megabyte/s download and upload speed

my computer tells me i'm getting only 1 bar of reception

can you guys recommend me a solution? i assume obviously it would have to tackle the fact that i don't get stuff for signal, what could i use?

my girlfriend's dad recently bought this 1' long antenna for his new pc, but it didn't work or i'd use it

i'm on windows 10 x64, this is what is listed under hardware properties in my wifi settings
