:o good idea I'll buy the mother board from there. Anyways is it true that nvidia cards peform better at minecraft then amd cards.

each have slight advantages over each other. i would think amd cards would perform slightly better at such things as minecraft but it really comes down to personal preference and cost. id go with a 7770 or 7850 because i am more of an amd fanboy than nvidia

Hey Zacks, I have the 7770. It runs Blockland fantastically.

i am so stupid so i just got my new lga 1155 motherboard and due to some slight mistake the pins got bent
spent like 2 hours straightening them out with a sewing needle, and they still aren't perfectly aligned
god i really hope i didn't break it   :panda:

stuff sucks. :(

Zacks, Im going to build you something a bit above $400 but it will be good (enough)

Pretty sure it wasn't, but what would I do if it were?
Did you download it by torrent or not? If you did, your image shouldn't be corrupt. If you didn't, Verify your MD5, SHA256, or SHA1 hash of the ISO file. This will ensure there was no corruption or lost data while downloading. If it ends up corrupted, attempt to download the torrent in the same directory as the ISO. It should re-download the corrupt segments and overwrite them.

I'll tell you why I didn't include a graphics card,
I decided that If i don't get a graphics card I can use the CPU Graphics and then still have good rest of the parts. So thats exactly what I did. in the future (on your birthday or something) start upgrading, first I would suggest upgrading the powersupply. then mobo the CPU then add on a graphics card then put some nicer ram on there and maybe slap it in a better case.

Though if you decide that you want to hand out $50 extra dollars, it is worth upgrading the CPU

he said he doesn't need any storage devices he will just use his old ones

and i think that if you use an amd 965 BE you could save some money, so thats instantly like 150 bucks off

and for 150 you can buy the 7770 or maybe a 7850 if you get 20 bucks more

i've made cheaper computers than that brian

brian how the hell can someone manage with 1gb of ram

:o good idea I'll buy the mother board from there. Anyways is it true that nvidia cards peform better at minecraft then amd cards.

Not unless Mojang is sponsored by nVidia. Which they aren't. If they were they would optimize the game to run better on nVidia cards.
