The stock cooler keeps your CPU cool enough. Some people complain about it being a bit noisy (especially Intel). I dunno, I've never heard the stock cooler :P

But adding an aftermarket cooler will allow you to keep the CPU even cooler, which probably will prolong its lifetime. I dunno by how much though. You should probably stick with the stock cooler, or a cheap cooler like the 212 for possible future OC'ing.
I had extreme noise problems with my stock cooler. It was just too loud. But I learned the noise was generated from the fan brushing the wires that went around it. All I had to do was give it more space and the sound virtually dissapeared. the CPU is an i5-3570k.

It would be a much better option.

Alright, thanks man.

Just one more question. What the hell should I do with my 500W PSU?

keep it incase you get a dud
better to have a working one than to not have one

Alright, but can anyone explain why its better?

I'm basing it off of benchmarks. A 3570k benchmarks better than the amd cpu, at least from what I have seen. The architecture for intel seems to be way ahead of amd right now, the new architecture for AMD seems to be a bit of a flop.

Alright, thanks again man. You've been a great help.

yaaaay

My case that I can fit a small dog into

and all my parts woo
time to build it .. tomorrow..

Can we get a parts list and/or less blurry pictures?

Hey is my CPU bottle necking my GPU? I am getting lag on badspots block part with max shaders (Even low shaders lag) and I have a i5 3750K and a gigabyte Radeon HD 7950 3 GB card. I haven't OC'd the CPU yet since I am using the stock fan until I buy a good cooler

no

Speaking of cases, this is mine

I love it
