Thanks, and can you or someone else find me better Storage? 2TB please and around $150

If you can stretch a little bit, I would strongly suggest getting a low capacity SSD to run your OS and core applications through, and using a 1 TB HDD to store your mass files.

1) Yes. Though I'd probably try to get 2*8 Gb instead of 4*4 Gb. For possible future expansions.
2) I think so. People usually get either WD or Seagate. As long as it is SATA 3.0 you should be fine.
3) Yeas.

Which is will last longer, if there's any real difference.
The first. You know Caviar Green series is intended as a back-up drive though, right?

Hm, how much GB do you suggest for the SSD? I honestly cannot go more than $150, maybe I can go to $170, and a SSD is pretty expensive.
Edit : Found better Storage I think, http://www.outletpc.com/bi7779.html?utm_source=bi7779&utm_medium=shopping%2Bengine&utm_campaign=pcpartpicker

Any better?

The suggested builds in the OP really need to be updated.

So to solver my bandwith problems I bought a second modem. There will be 2 connections in my house now, a 30mb and 10mb both with 250gb cap effectively giving me a 500gb cap. It all worked out to costing about 15 dollars more if we cancel our phone service. This whole conundrum had a positive outcome.

You can still use it as a primary drive, but it's intention is for backup.
I prefer caviar black, though they don't come as 1.5TB, and they're a little more expensive.

It's really up to your personal preference and budget.

 Bam $50 less too

If you can afford a Western Digital Caviar Black then why the hell would you ever go with a Seagate instead?

old skullcandy headphones broke. sent them in, got $50 store coupon for replacing them. apparently they dont make/sell the ones i had so i have to choose something newer.
i don't know jack on headphones, these are the two i could find: lowrider, cassette (i dont like earphones)

can't really figure out which is better, though the lowrider appears more comfortable
they dont have any technical specs for the lowrider on their website, but newegg seems to have some
internet says skullcandy sucks, but i cant really spend their coupon elsewhere and i dont have money anyway

Thanks a bunch.

What's wrong with Seagate?

anyone have any suggestions for cheap monitor and keyboard that is good enough to not make me angry everytime i use it

http://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu.php?cpu=AMD+Opteron+6272&id=1569
http://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu.php?cpu=Intel+Core+i7-3930K+%40+3.20GHz&id=902

This pretty much counters the "AMD being budget" partially:
The i7 is much greater than the AMD with a relatively same price.
The i7 having 6 cores, AMD 8. AMD having 2.1 GHz and the i7 having 3.20 GHz.

You realize that the AMD processor you selected is for servers. The 8-core FX-8350 one below it is 4.0 GHz and only $200 compared to the $300 intels above and below it.

Server CPUs are expensive.

How much would you be willing to spend on a monitor?
