I have an HP pavillion p6510y. Is this a good computer? I know it's probably old. All I know is it runs KSP really bad and it runs Trackmania great even though they both eat my PC.

below minimal settings, sry man
but i thought 768GB of RAM was enough!!!!!

that computer sucks lol

i used to have a computer pretty much like to yours, same cpu but i had 6gb of ram; it ran BF3 on minimal settings at around 30FPS with 1920x1080. And that is after i bought a $50 AMD 5670 GPU. Playable, barely.

and if you are thinking about upgrading your GPU, you are going to need a mobo. your pci lane is version 1, and although most video cards will work anyway, they won't unleash their full potential and getting super fancy GPU won't make sense

someone correct me if i am just spewing bullstuff out of my star fish but i think i am right

Will this run BF3?

$54000 for the very best model

you can probably play minesweeper I guess ..

that's not that bad of a thing, my HD 6870 drivers do that stuff sometimes, not that big of a deal. AMD drivers y'know

plus if the rest of your computer is stuff (which I'm assuming it is since you're using integrated) then there's no point in getting a 660 right now

I want to update the graphics card, but I heard the power supply is pretty stuffty too.

Im building a computer come summer. Should I wait until the new Nvidia GPU's come out or just go and build it during the summer?

Build it during the summer, you won't have school then, you'll have time to build it, and you might even be able to work a summer job for a while and get some better parts.

i think that both the new amd and nvidia cards will be out by summer, but just a guess
