what

how does that even

anyway i decided to get windows 7 64-bit gg guys

I was going to recover data I lost on my new MicroSD card, put it into a USB adapter and plugged it in. After a second, I heard a loud clunk from inside my computer. I was sure the new drive just murdered itself. While I kept saying to myself it was a bad idea, I went to the drive and checked if I could open it. I could get into the top layer. The window closed itself, I reopened it, and I can explore all the folders still. In fact, it isn't making that fan hum it was before that I could hear. I know perfectly well "It clunked and now it works" doesn't mean it's good and is likely really bad, but I'm still surprised it made such a horrible sudden noise and physically seems to be running better for the moment. But now I do hear an odd ZZZ noise... it's probably melting itself or something... Not constantly, but sometimes when I try to go through files... Maybe that part is paranoia.

Edit: Apparently my computer cached the folders, so even though I was checking the drive, it wasn't running. It started up, but the wum still... less intense. I feel it, but it isn't like in my face. I have to pay attention to tell.

Guys, I need a good business and school computer for a friend.

It has to be ~$500 and no bigger than 15.6''. Any ideas?

I assume you're talking about a laptop?

Why yes, of course.

All that I need now is a motherboard but how is this build looking

AMD FX-4300 3.8GHz Quad-Core Processor
ASRock 970 EXTREME4 ATX AM3+ Motherboard
Corsair 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 560 1GB Video Card
Cooler Master HAF 912 ATX Mid Tower Case
Thermaltake TR2 600W ATX12V Power Supply
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1

How is this build compared to my current?

What's a really good looking Mini ITX case that's not a BitFenix Prodigy?

I dropped my ipad 2 and the screen is cracked up now. Is there a place were I can get the screen repaired for a cheap price (or were I can get the parts to do it myself?)

Mega you need to stop making mountains out of mole hills. Calm  down already.

My AMD FX 4300 just came in now all I need is the Ram to ship and all I will need is a motherboard and a Hard Drive

Buying your parts spaced out is generally never a good idea. Unless you buy them in a really short time period.

OS X Mavericks announced, the new OS X update.  now featuring:
  • tags
  • tabs in the Finder program
  • improved multi display support

aka everything that's been in windows since 7 came out (aside from tabs in Explorer but really who needs that)
