okay guys I need help
the power flickered a few hours ago and it cut off my computer
I cut it back on and everything started to run extremely slow. Anyone know why? I shut it down and let it sit for an hour or so and cut it back on, and still, the same thing happens. It takes literally like 5 minutes to load a single webpage, and steam refuses to start. It just stays at the log in screen... I'm confused on why it's this slow :u

laptop or desktop

wait whatever happened to Ethan?

laptop or desktop
desktop (I'm on my iPod btw if that says anything about how slow it's being)

Could it be your router and not the computer?

I don't think so cause everything is being slow- google chrome and steam refuse to open, iTunes doesn't open until a minute or so later, Windows Explorer crashes everytime, mostly anything I try to open starts to 'not respond' for a few minutes, etc

I've tried everything- system restore, checking the drive for errors, etc
nothing works... I'm really confused as to why it's still this way. It's not as slow as it was to begin with.. either that or I'm just getting used to it.

The only thing outdated with Mack's setup is the sea gate and PSU. Both have upgraded models.

The $500 build in the OP seems a bit outdated. I have a friend that is interested in building a PC with a budget of $500. Can anyone help me help him out? I don't want him to waste some cash buying a prebuilt PC.

I'm going to be honest but some of the designs of the new Mac Pro aren't that bad. If you notice they put the fan on top of the computer to make it cool off faster because hot air rises, And they made it pretty compact. The only bad things I hate about it are how its round so you cant lay it on its side or something, And it looks like a trashcan.

I can agree but its risky design makes me not like it and the price

the whole "hot air rises" thing shouldn't be a deciding factor in the entire design.

i am strongly considering this mouse on account of 9 programmable buttons + colored profile lights.  is there any reason i should not?
