i would suggest something like an fx-6300, but its pretty evident that you're not an amd fan.
don't buy that 5900 rpm HDD, get something fasterGet a slightly nicer motherboard that's SLI compatible, cause you'll have the space and power to do so. Other than that, I don't see anything wrong with itEdit: the motherboard pictures right above your post is the same one you plan to buy
http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/8R7ZjXOk! How's this?
This any good for my Nvidia GTX Geforce 760?http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182200(Just trying to save $40 if I can...)
thoughts?
Would an fx 4300 bottleneck an r9 290?
Yes. Overclocking will help, but you won't get the full performance out of it. You'll probably lose out on quite a bit of potential performance
I had a 7770 that ran Blockland 60 fps 1080p no problem at max settings, even with the bricks being near 250,000 in an unlimited mining serverI'm pretty sure your card is a stuff ton better than my old one, so it must be your CPU
so what processor would not bottleneck it?
The 6300 bottlenecks it so the next best choice would be the 8320
well stuff
The SuperNOVA series is notoriously bad, however the G2 series from EVGA is a huge improvement and one of their best PSUs ever.
