what do you guys think about this ~$900 build?

I'd say this is better. Still under $900, has an SSD, newer, better unlocked CPU, and a better PSU.

If I water cool my cpu, am I going to really have to rethink my air flow in my case? Or is it enough to just blow air through a radiator at the top?

do you mean a full water cooling setup or a closed loop cooler? If closed loop cooler, the radiator at the top blowing inwards would mean you want the front and back fans to blow out, creating negative pressure. Dunno though.
If you have it blowing outwards the front fans should be blowing in, and you might need to get a fan on the bottom of the case if you have it off the floor and if it allows it.

its the same deal no matter what kind of water cooling you do. you cool off the radiators. it dosnt matter where they are or if the fans are pushing or pulling.
all water cooled pc's dont even need a case really.

my video card radiators and pulling that hot air right back into the computer from the front. it dosnt even matter where that expelling air ends up, so long as its not on the chips anymore.

I was only asking because closed loop coolers use 1 radiator, while DIY water cooling can use more than 1 radiator.

Just got myself quite the case deal off craigslist

Completely modified to house a ATX or Micro ATX motherboard and ATX/Modular PSU and 240mm radiator at the bottom of the case, I will update with pics later once I clean the aluminum up and make it shine all nice and pretty
Edit for pageloss and the fact I quoted the wrong damn post from the previous page, I meant to post this case on this page because of pageloss, sorry for my forgetup there

Dang nice

How much did you spend on it?

That's actually kinda cool

People will be all "Oh you got an apple"
and you will be all "No it's better"
then they will be all "Oh youre an apple wannabe"
Then you'll cry

then forget I'll stop doing whatever the forget I just did

Dang nice

40 bucks and it came already modified, but I need to do some more modifications before it's actually anywhere good to go

First part of the update is that I removed some main modifications in order to remove the upper shelf of the case to access the PSU bay

Second part of the update for the early morning, I removed the upper shelf of the case as I was trying to install a PSU dummy and realized there is a slight PSU measurement issue so I will have to build a way for the case to house a PSU in the top without much compromise.

I'll continue to update as I make some more progress on the case

Just got a Logitech G710+ for $80. Wish I had the one without the plus for the blue switches but I'm going to eventually like the brown switches as well. R-rite?

Woah I so do not like those keys. But I could get used to them. But besides this, the keyboard is also in the UK layout.

Even if I got it for so cheap. And this is 100% new, from a shop, I think I am actually going to return it tomorrow if I can :(.

Not to mention the palmrest is really... bad.

Sent it back and got my money.
Reasons why:
-Very poor backlighting.
-Handrest was extremely flexible for no apparent reason.
-Matte keys. NoooooOOOOOO.
-I officially say I do not like the Cherry MX Browns. At all.

I tried MX Browns at my friends house, and I didn't like the feel either.

I'm going to get an MX Blue switch keyboard on Saturday, probably. Razer Blackwidow Ultimate with blue backlighting. Buying it from my friend for $50, I'm excited.

I had a RB2012 before but it broke (100% my fault - no remorse) and it was a great keyboard.
I intend to buy a RB2014 but now I have no idea how will I manage the Razer Green keys and I'd rather buy a second-hand older version that still has the Blues. Not to mention it's more expensive than this keyboard. I mean, this keyboard was extremely cheap in this store but other stores had it for more than $160 (The G710). Weird it has such bad production quality.

Yeah. Sometimes price doesn't mean quality. Seeing as it's a Logitech though, I would have thought for sure it'd be nice.
