After the G710 incident I have now bought a Gamdias Hermes (Jesus Christum) and this thing looks like it was made to throw someone in the head with and explode and still be alive.

I paid $92 for it second hand. The seller also handed me the old receipt for warranty (which is non-nominal, which means I can also send it to warranty?) and he apparently paid $65 for it, brand new. Meanwhile the keyboard has an actual price tag of $180, respectively more common now $130 as every place I see seems to have it on sale of sorts.
I feel cheated in some sorts. Not to mention that multiple keys have spring noises as they come back up. Most importantly, the space-bar as well.

I still feel happy with it, plus I never found any price of that keyboard online with this close price-feel ratio either. It seems like it was also the same store where I bought the G710 from. Hurrhurr.

Springs are still annoying though.
Also passes the alphabet test. THE QUICK BROWN FOX JUMPED OVER THE LAZY DOG. :D

ok guys i have a problem on my laptop

whenever i use headphones and for a while after i use them (even though it still happens but less prominently i guess) all audio has a stuff ton of static noises while it plays. it started when i plugged in some old-ish apple headphones.

why do keyboards have that
its so loving ridiculous

competitive gamers play grip style on keyboard. as flat as possible.
you would have your elbows and arms laying up on the desk even.

Power supply is dying and only outputs half the power.

Solution: Run 2 in parallel.                                            ^ jumping the slave psu with a wire.

Forgive my dusty computer, the flash really brings it out, and the wire management is totally gone cause I had to pull out everything that was plugged in.

So my laptop stopped turning on and I opened it up. Only to discover that the monkeys that worked on it when I had problems last time were loving handicaps

who the forget puts tape on the connector

who the forget puts tape on the connector
The OEM, actually.

I worked on a lot of laptops when I was in my school's IT. A lot of the connectors would have a tiny piece of white scotch tape on them. They just come this way.
