How good is an 'AMD R7 260X 2GB DDR5'

mid to entry level gaming

bad
Your forgetting nvidia stuff is kind of on the expensive side.
AMD Covers the budget side.

Are there any microATX boards for skylake out yet?

They have been announced a while back but they won't come out until later, guessing fall.

the card is bad and not suitable for modern pc gaming.

The card is garbage. Stop trying to mislead this guy and say it's good.

There really isn't anything wrong with this card. Like most AMD cards, it's price/performance ratio is a bit better than Nvidia cards. AMD cards also boast extremely superior performance on computational tasks (like hashing), but Nvidia cards make up for it and then some with architecture that is designed to render scenes.

Don't listen to Xphire, it's a good budget card.

Thanks guys, I think I'm going to go with an Asus GeForce GTX 960

EDIT: Yeah I might get Pentium's build. So. I'll be saving up for years, but I'll get it eventually

Nah. Technology evolves like a loving virus. That will become cheaper in months.
