well i got a 980 for free...
ummmmmmm excuse me sir ur gonna need to explain

i don't like zalman cases because the quality is absolutely horrid

but that's your preference ofc

I've been running a second monitor with my setup at home like I do at work. Sadly the secondary monitor is just my friend's; I'm holding it until tomorrow when he comes down from the UP to build his pc with me, since I'm also have his gpu and other parts. I want to buy another to compensate for the 'loss' but at the same time I could sell my current monitor and get an ultra-wide monitor(21:9) instead.

The way I see it, ultra-wide = more immersion when gaming while dual monitors = better multitasking... Anyone have experience with both that they could share?

Anyone understand how the mac update cycles work? I'm looking at getting something like a macbook air/pro so I can deploy from Unity to IOS. I can claim the full price of the laptop as an equipment expense against my business so I'm not worried about cost.

I've had a look at the macrumors buyers guide but I don't really understand, do they continuously drop support for 'older' models in new updates?
I've decided against this now. I was about to put in an order but I just couldn't bring myself to pay thousands of dollars for a laptop which ultimately has stuffty specs (regardless of being able to write off the expense). Adding to that, the android market share only seems to be getting bigger anyway.

So different question then, recommended laptops? I'll primarily be running things like unity/blender/photoshop/illustrator. I'll be happy to spend anywhere up to and around $2k. Also a full size keyboard would be nice.

Updated my peasant/pc battle station minus the xbone cause that can just be streamed

oooooooooooooo i like the purple

Would it be possible to build decent computer that plays most games on medium settings for only $500?(not including OS)

thanks! so since there's two here, is one of them any better than the other?
looks like this one is better
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/cT4kyc
it has dual channel memory, the other does not
this is the only thing that i can find that seems to be better between the two of them, everything else is the exact same, or on par

cleaned up a bit and moved things around

sorry for the mess above the server and the wire management

god the camera on the G2 is trash

my sharkoon broke so now im stuck with this stuffty cm storm mouse, and it doesn't match my setup

i got sick of the extremely loud dual 140mm red LEDs in the rosewill neutron especially since i just moved it a few inches from my left ear so i just put one 140mm white LED in it for now

still looking to replace that right monitor but my money only goes so far and im trying to re-do the internals of the server and the main rig
