ah, that makes more sense. the video card is unlisted, but when I look for it on newegg it says that it's out of stock and this is the newer verison. so I should go with that instead?
(sorry if I sound dumb I just am really unfamiliar with this stuff and I gotta be sure I get the right stuff)

I ended up buying a surface book to cover my laptop needs, quite excited to get it. I'm also thinking I'll upgrade my desktop pc over the coming months so I can experience fo4 mods in all their glory. I reckon I'll spend around 2k. Are there any big hardware releases that I should be waiting for?
