Seems accurate to me, never heard of Hitachi though, may take a look at them now.
this chart was posted once before and it dosen't take in to account how many wd drives people actually use vs seagate and hitachi

where's your source for this, because it's in a percentage, not a total value of "this many fail per year"

my evidence is purely anecdotal because someone said the same thing last time it was posted

It's time to play everybody's favorite game show: Guess what type of storage this is!

What could this storage possible be? Is it a SSD? Is it a HDD? Is it a combo of the two? You'll have to find out!

Its apple
Apple is asspensive
Sell it

The only reason I appreciate my laptop now is because it makes a good heater :)
It's old ass apple and it's GPU doesn't seem to send any signals to my screen so it could be broken.

Is this okay. Im looking for cheapish IPS.
Apperently it has a refresh eate of 75Hz wich is nice. And a better color range then my current one.
IPS, 60Hz (or more) and 5Ms (or lower) is a must. Also cheap stuff ples

Am I the only one who buys monitors from thrift stores? I am currently using a HP w2338h http://www.amazon.com/HP-W2338H-23-Inch-Widescreen-Monitor/dp/B001UHOX28

Got it at a thrift store for $20, only has a small scratch on the bottom center of the screen, but I never notice it, it still had the glossy protection film from when it was bought so I removed that and its almost brand new.

Thrift stores carry good stuff nowadays, I regularly go to check for IBM Model M's, I have even found Mechanical keyboards there, but they always get bought out in the morning by who I think is a guy who own a local pc repair place down the street from the store.
