If anyone is having trouble keeping track of stock updates just use this: http://www.nowinstock.net/
You can set it to send you email notifications when a product gets new stock, it's how I got my Fallout 4 Pipboy Edition.

Since i'm going to stay with 1080p gaming for atleast a couple of more years, would I be better off just getting a 970 or would I be better to just wait until aftermarket cards come down to the actual MSRP for the 1070?

or the 480 since it peforms better but for 200 bucks

Talking about the 480, Some shop in my country is actually selling it for 320 euro. And thats the 4Gb versoon, lmao.

I recently decided to upgrade from my Nvidia Geforce 670T to a Radeon R9 380X. Parts should arrive in a few days. I'm pretty incompetent when it comes to PC hardware so I'm wondering how you guys think it will affect my performance.

decent performance increase, although depending on the price difference and if you can i'd return the 380x and get the 480

I would've gone higher, but I didn't want to spend too much on the graphics card alone. I was primarily upgrading my RAM, Processor, and Motherboard, and decided to add a new graphics card because the old one had started giving me trouble on some new games.

I'm going to be upgrading to an intel i5 4460 and a gtx 750 ti eventually, I know it's not the best but I just want to run bf1 so I can actually participate in events and all that stuff with my battlefield platoon.

im ridding my 960 soon for whatever. just because gigabyte finally announced an upcoming itx version of the 1070. so my tiny tiny comp can use that lol

I went from i3-2100 prebuilt to i3-2100 gtx 750 ti to i5-4590 750 ti to i5-4590 gtx 1070.

the 4GB version 480 is cheaper and performs better than the 380X, so returning your 380X and getting an aftermarket 480 won't be a bad idea

also, is it just me or does GTA V take a god damn supercomputer to run with max settings at 1440p (with Nvidia PCSS+ enabled)? I drop below 50FPS sometimes even with a GTX 1080!

now that is some professional-grade humblebragging

to be fair, I am incredibly irresponsible with my money and I am still using a stuffty plastic foldup chair and an old broken wooden desk I found off of craigslist. lol

is it me or can I run anything at 720p at medium settings with 30 fps because I have a gtx 640 and I don't feel the urge to play at top settings

(note: i'm glad you like your 1080. wish i had money, too). :(

that's a shame, just run it at partial medium/high settings. My AMD x4 860k/960 build has some things set to medium and others set to high and I get a decent 45-60 FPS.

Isn't it time we actually change the poll?
