Hm, seems like some kind of objective based first person shooter and I don't see how this game can't exist on the PC.

of course it CAN
ccp just doesn't want it to, for whatever reasons they have

I can understand they don't want to.

What I don't understand is why hgpucom is saying it can't.

Herpaderp i never said it's impossible i just think it would ruin the concept

No you  don't get it. If a PC gamer wanted to try dust, they would play Eve. If a console player wanted to try Eve he would try Dust.
Excuse me I know this was an old post but I can't let something this dumb slide.

The thing is though you can't make it two separate servers connected to Eve because it wouldn't work.

I like that it's not on PC because it means EVE Players are less likely to just play both and for the wars to be influenced by the same real-life people. Splitting them up makes it so different player-bases are influencing things in one universe. Pretty neat. Also I'm pretty sure one of CCP's main motivations for it being PS3 exclusive was upfront money from Sony. Not sure but I remember hearing something similair when Dust 514 was announced as PS3 exclusive.

i saw free to play and my jew senses started tingling

Well, while the stuff that costs 'real monies' are stronger, they cost more points to equip.

aw so it's one of those f2p games with a premium store?

changed my mind, don't want it on pc

People already die fast.
The like, 5-8% extra damage from cash is pretty much invisible and a waste of points.

nope. i have gunnery and assault rifle proficiency to level five and it makes a big difference. especially when no one else has them and they are fighting you. you always end up winning by a lot. and with an aurum-based gun it dramatically improves your damage bonus by up to 25%

I think a beta rule was just broken...
