Ephialtes does have some slight bias in his moderation, most of said bias is completely based on what topics he is involved with. When one sees stuffposting and has the ability to remove it, then whatever stuffposting one sees is likely to be removed. Unfortunately, this has resulted in one clean thread amongst bajillions of stuffpost-filled ones, and everyone is obviously getting tired of it.
There is no right way to handle this. We can either keep the problem we have (minor deletion bias and possible cover-ups and the resulting paranoia) or we can revoke his administration and face the enormous tide of stuff that he has held at bay.
Personally, I think when a post is deleted, there should be an indicator that a post in that location has been deleted, maybe just a double-line border instead of a single-line one. Not counting against the pagecount of course. But then, that suggestion is probably ridiculous.
