HOGs are cheap and expendable, Cobras carry tows and a few more rocket pods and a 20mm cannon; The Apache is expensive, armored, 30mm cannon, has hellfire missiles and rocket pods.

The cobra is faster , has better upgrades and the basic version has more rockets than the HOGs. They also carry 7.62mm gatling guns and not 20mm cannons. The Apache also has 10 HP and is -pretty much- the best fricking helicopter in the entire game.

Compared to the Apache ( which costs the same and has the same avaibillity) it's only upside is the amount of missiles ( 16 ATGMs are a forgetton for a helicopter) but they are weaker than the Hellfires and don't have fire & forget. However they can still be fired on the move so it won't make too much of a difference. The arnament is generally a bit weaker than the Apache's except for the rocket pods maybe.
