you just have to have situational awareness (easy in teams) and be able to micromanage units sometimes. It's not a really huge learning curve.

E: how many people can even play multiplayer campaign? We should play a massive game or have a tournament of some sort via campaign.
But the campaign sucks due to the stuffty moral mechanics and the handicapped force compositions.

The campaign felt like an overglorfied skirmish. Hopefully RD does better.

Is there any better way to use flame tanks?

I wish there was a sandbox mode so I could mess around with units and such

BBQ out the infantry in forests around my initial sector/if they're by themselves is the only way I use them

Am of sorry comrades, have been of brainwashed by the all glorious comrade Mikoyan into playing Pact.

Turn off the main gun and use fire position. Fire on the outskirts of where the infantry are, that way you blind any ATGM troops and that way you can maneuver around to burn what is behind your already existing wall of fire. The deeper you can shoot into a forrest or down the better, but if you can't then fire on the outskirts. Forests can't be removed completely, the trees are animated to die, but you can still hide In the invisible trees.

i got a long weekend if anyone wants to play.

I have a long weekend as well. Off on Monday. I'll be playing all weekend most likely lol.

Also F-22 plays all the forgetin time seriously

Will be here to support the Red cause Mikoyan.

so does red dragon have new factions / eras? and what are they?

According to the Marshalls, A moderator, and MadMat
CatC 1980 -> CatB 1985 -> 1990 but caps at 1995

Marshalls also say that availability bonuses won't be in the game. However I wouldn't believe them because a lot of those marshals are just elitist players who get their own subforum and the fact that they aren't devs.

The Devs have yet to officially confirm the removal of spam bonuses though.

You can get Wargame: European Escalation for $4 on GOG:
http://www.gog.com/game/wargame_european_escalation

I might get it,  but I have no way of playing it at the moment.
