yes of course let's destroy the document that made our nation what it is
we aren't tossing the declaration though mate

the declaration doesn't do anything

the articles of confederation were such a disaster that we replaced it with the constitution, i guess we should just get rid of it though?

What the forget are you even saying? It was designed to change, they aren't getting rid of it they are changing it.

the constitution needs a good reworking anyway
right to bear arms in an organized militia
not just to flaunt em around

There's nothing unclear about the 2nd amendment; it's only faulty interpretation.

theodore roosevelt was a warmonger who got us into a pointless war with spain and encouraged woodrow wilson and fdr to get us into WWI/WWII for no reason, not to mention all the ridiculous stuff he got pushed through

District of Columbia v. Heller, 554 U.S. 570 (2008), was a landmark case in which the Supreme Court of the United States held that the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution protects an individual's right to possess a firearm for traditionally lawful purposes, such as self-defense within the home and within federal enclaves. The decision did not address the question of whether the Second Amendment extends beyond federal enclaves to the states, which was addressed later by McDonald v. Chicago (2010). It was the first Supreme Court case in United States history to decide whether the Second Amendment protects an individual right to keep and bear arms for self-defense.

McDonald v. Chicago, 561 US 3025 (2010), is a landmark decision of the Supreme Court of the United States that determined whether the Second Amendment applies to the individual states. The Court held that the right of an individual to "keep and bear arms" protected by the Second Amendment is incorporated by the Due Process Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment and applies to the states. The decision cleared up the uncertainty left in the wake of District of Columbia v. Heller as to the scope of gun rights in regard to the states.

How do you explain George W. Bush
it was the opposite for that one

Ronald Reagan was magnificent.
Here's him with a dog.

I can't truthfully see this thread ending well because 90% of the forums are uninformed children biased by their parent's radical beliefs.  I'm honestly tired of constantly being harassed politically by people who have not even a basic understanding of the current workings of the United States government.

But I will state that Barrack Obama is an absolute abomination to this country, and no I'm also not Republican or strongly conservative, just to let you know.  Obamacare is utter stuff along with the Fiscal Cliff incidents.  He has no leadership skills whatsoever and took credit for the assassination of Osama Bin Laden, even though the reconnaissance program was set up by George W. Bush.  He is a strictly liberal leader that has done nothing to improve our economy whatsoever.

Anyone who would like to argue this with me, wasn't he also the one who stated that by a few weeks ago unemployment would be below what, 6% if I recall correctly?
Gj Barrack, really keeping promises there man.

Yola may not necessarily be biased by his own parent's beliefs but it's certainly constrained to what the media displays -- it's some sort of halfway point.

Just remember, Bush had the chance to reach Bin Laden but forgeted it up badly.

I honestly steer clear on any majorly biased media, and I do know exactly what I'm talking about.  I'd say I'm pretty far past this halfway point.

I have a feeling you're misinformed if you call Obama a "liberal".

You mean that outdated piece of paper written 200 years ago that was specifically designed so it could change if need be?
It still applies today, so there's no need to change it.

Damnit.

You win this one.

>No need to change it
>17 amendments to the bill of rights
