The conspiracy theorists are taking all of the holes and filling them in with their own nonsense to try and ensure their conspiracy is believed. We're using ignorance to try and promote something that doesn't exist, and it's disgusting.
Information from ignorance is a dangerous thing.
kind of on-topic:
I really hate it when people call automatic rifles 'assault rifles' or 'assault weapons.' That means nothing, 'assault rifle/weapon' is a bullstuff term coined by uptight dudes in monkey suits, with a bible held to their crotch whilst simultaneously pelvic thrusting, to try to get people to think automatic rifles are any more dangerous than guns in general.
Guns are made to shoot stuff. Shooting a person with any kind of bullet, whilst in normal clothing, will probably take them down outright. I don't see how limiting the amount of bullets one can cram into a magazine means anything, nor how banning automatic rifles/shotguns will do anything either.
The thing is, some shoot more debilitating ammunition. A shotgun shell to the chest will kill you. But the ammunition itself, the bullets, are what matters. It's just as easy to put an AA-12 up your ass as it is a pump-action shotgun. Banning the accessory that fires the bullets will not do anything. The only thing that will do anything, is outlawing certain kinds of highly dangerous ammunition such as dragon's breath or really forgetin' big shells for revolvers that basically turn it into a hand cannon.
There's my two cents.
