sorry to say this, but a wooden baseball bat would probably split in half if you knocked 2 zombie heads in.

i'm sure they make steel bats.

You are also a dumb stuff

Katanas weren't really designed for cutting or breaking bone, they were designed for attacking soft spots and causing death through pain, blood loss or goring their stomachs

The AA-12 is a bad choice: It runs through ammo like forget, and the drum mags are so big you could only carry 3 at a time. The G18 is likewise, you run through mags so fast and it is impossible to fire full-auto without tearing your arm off.

I'd go with an M-4 with a grip and a silencer, drum mags in possible.
A SIG-SAUER P226 wit ha silencer and flashlight for the large mag sizes
And the mele would probably a modded cattle prod or something like that.

The last thing I'd be worried about in an apocalypse is weapons

If your katana hits a bone, it becomes useless.

Bones have about the resistance of a piece of 3" wood. Katanas can cut through wood. Therefore it can cut through bones, wood, and witches.

a slingshot
a stapler
a spoon
triple a protection
all of them are silenced by the way

That's not necessarily true.
Depending on how the weapon was forged will result in how strong it is.

if any sword, you'd one one thats heavy (maybe atleast 7 pounds) and made of steel, not that aluminum stuff.

Chances are Katanas will just be used for looks and not actual versatility.

cite some sources yo

Despite it's uses I find Katanas to be overrated anyway. It's like everyone these days wants to be some sort of handicapped ass ninja.

I'd just walk my ass over to wherever FPS Russia's house and camp out there for the rest of the apocalypse.
Say what you want about his accent, he has a forgetton of guns and knows how to use them.

not that hard, google "10 pound swords".

katanas are really light-weight, what you DO NOT want. like someone else said, it's pretty much just for looks.

It is extremely important that the blade remain well-oiled, powdered and polished, as the natural moisture residue from the hands of the user will rapidly cause the blade to rust if not cleaned off. The traditional oil used is choji oil (99% mineral oil and 1% clove oil for fragrance). Similarly, when stored for longer periods, it is important that the katana be inspected frequently and aired out if necessary in order to prevent rust or mold from forming (mold may feed off the salts in the oil used to polish the katana).

Tell me you will do all this in an apocalypse.

don't try to be a badass

Perhaps, I'd take with me a Remmington 700, machete and a S&W 500 or something.
