If you want to play games with a bigger screen and are willing to pay the 200, get the XL. If you want just to play games when your bored, or don't have the money, regular.

I suggest the XL, it has a bigger screen, it doesn't get dirty on the case, and also there is a "fib" of the regular which it shows 2 ugly lines on the top screen, but the screen on the XL tries to reduce that, iv'e never had one so. :c

it is said that the XL is the better version. the only reason i'm not sure is because i haven't been able to try the two side-by-side for comparison.
if the resolution looks like crap it would bug the hell out of me, but i'm told it's not that bad.

the stretch is the only thing that would tie me down in choice. otherwise, all around it has a longer lifespan, better 3D-effect visuals, buttons, "matte" texture, etc.
