You cant rebuild a whole air base in 1 week.
What hangar bunkers?

I ask permission to use my plane, The command grants permission, and I also ask for drone targets to practice my flying and dogfighting.
Some planes are placed into bunkers that they can taxi out of.

I see Alexander and begin walking over to him "I hear you're the one I paid two squadrons for, and one of them I was leading sir?" I ask.
"My condolences." I offer a handshake. "I'll most likely be your flight leader. What's your name?"

OOC: Deception, do you live in Oklahoma? I just looked at your prof. Lol

"Whoa. I slept through the base blowing up."

"I am alive and I don't have a plane still."

"Go claim one of the surplus jets. It's what I did since I lost mine in that cra- wait, nevermind. I think we'll have to wait for them to be shipped."

I land my jet on the runway, then, taxi it on the hangar, Immediatly, I get out of the jet and go to the Command Center.
"I want a recon mission, send 3 Recon planes, make sure they are well armed, scout the recently destroyed Emmeria's base, destroy any supply truck/ship, whatever, we will win this war, they will pay all the lives they take out, including my brother's." And I hear an "Yes sir" Soon, I hear movement, the sound of the footstep of the pilots. I go to the Radar room to spectate the mission.

"Go claim one of the surplus jets. It's what I did since I lost mine in that cra- wait, nevermind. I think we'll have to wait for them to be shipped."
"Hey, is there a chance I can get a new one? A better one?"

"Hey, is there a chance I can get a new one? A better one?"
"Talk to the base commander, which is sure as hell not me ((ooc no, it really is not))."

Around mid morning, I began pacing around the airbase to scout the damage done by the bombing raid last night. Surprisingly, most of the buildings remained intact, and the only facilities that took direct hits were the mess hall and the holding cells where we kept the prisoner. God dammit. Not only did we lose a potential bargaining chip, but we came within a hairbreadth's distance of losing the loving war ... twice in one day.

I checked in with battle control to see if the situation has changed at all, and apparently command has intelligence reports saying that yesterday's scuffle had suppressed aerial forces just enough for an opening, and that they were planning to launch an offense on an enemy position Northeast from here, on Khesed Island. Seemed simple enough at first. However, there was just one small detail that irked me to the point of risking a brain aneurysm.

I rushed out of the briefing room and frantically began searching for Colonel Steele. Nathan better wish me luck. I'm going to have a word with him.

The fighters finally arrives at the supposed location.
"Well, looks like the majority of the base still intact, contact Lt. Misha."
I soon receiva a call from the scout squadron.
"Yes?"
"The base looks like to be 60% intact, sir."
"Return to base, Don't attract too much attention."
They soon do a 180º turn and heads back to base.
