also it's stupid and needs to be removed/revised heavily

The idea that the U.S. wants to take away gun rights so it can be tyrannical is insane. Since when could civilians stand against the best military force on Earth? I don't think being allowed to own a hunting rifle would change the outcome.

I think firearms safety should be a mandatory class in high school.  Health is, so why not firearms?

I think it's a good idea as well. Firearms are common in the US and uneducated kids who are ignorant on the subject should know how to handle them.

I also believe US citizens should have the right to bare arms in their house for personal safety/defense.

When it comes to Open carry, concealed carry, who can purchase guns, etc. etc. I'm not going to get into that right now because Don't Starve just finished downloading 8)

Well yeah, wearing long sleeves in a house where the AC just broke would suck. :cookieMonster:

Having a gun is better than having none, especially if a situation occurs such as a foreign invasion. Look at Switzerland (I think it's them), every household pretty much is obligated to have the equivalent of an M16 in it.

I'm just saying that particular argument is incredibly lame. There are other, better, reasons to arm civilians.

I support it. As long as normal civillians don't go crazy and just start shooting everybody.

......

Guns don't kill people, people do.

In other words, removing the right to own guns from the constitution will just make people murder other people in different ways. Heck, it's possible for you to beat someone up to death with no weapon.

Sure, as long as its in a well regulated militia like the Constitution says.

ak47s for everyone
Angry mob cheer.

There are a lot of morons out there with guns.

I might get a mini14 because its cheaper than an ar15 and uses the same ammo.
