Author Topic: Do you support the second amendment?  (Read 17553 times)

"Intolerant of the beliefs and opinions of others; stubbornly unreceptive to new ideas."

Look, there's no argument here. You ARE being close-minded.
no, i'm stubbornly unreceptive of really stupid arguments that make no sense and were often just plain incorrect

yeah i'd say that describes my strategy pretty well
can't say i'd think its a good use of my time to format, structure, and deliberate over arguments on an internet forum full of non-voters and dumbasses
You could convince yourself the sky was purple and nobody could cmake you change, not even if you saw it with your own eyes.

You basically just admitted to putting zero effort into supporting your statements.

You've just dismissed any points brought up as "stupidity". This only proves what I said even further.

no, if i saw it with my own eyes i would be perfectly convinced, as i listen to real evidence and only real evidence
and yes, i didn't put much effort into supporting my statements as this is an internet forum full of nonvoters, why the hell would i....

as i listen to real evidence and only real evidence

OK now I can't take you seriously anymore

So statistics aren't evidence? I find it hard to believe you'd accept anything except what you think

one guy posted statistics, then when i asked for the source, it didn't back up what he said and he didn't post again
any other statistics posted had no source

I'm sure you're capable of fact-checking, it's only a minor inconvenience. Hell, you should take that time to get some evidence of your own.

Im not really sure what you are whining about, but how exactly do you know this forum is full of dumbasses and non-voters? I am registered to vote and I graduated high school. Please stop being a jackass

most mass shootings happen in "gun free zones" such as schools or movie theaters, the shooters want a high body count so they go to these places, and signs that say this is a gun free zone are infringing my 2nd amendment rights. its like the bible, some people only belive some parts of it, but not all of it, same with the constitution, some people say, i want to talk about whatever i want, but i dont want people to have guns... just saying

Back up your arguments with statistics and facts.
You'll never win a debate if you don't have sources.

says nothing about US vs UK crime rates

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Violent_crime

Quote from: UK
In 2010/11, 31 people per 1000 interviewed reported being a victim of violent crime in the 12 preceding months.

Quote from: US
In 2009 there were 16.9 victimizations per 1000 persons aged 12 and over.

i personally support handguns but believe high power or automatic weapons should be restricted.
