I think by this he means games like WoW or others that you have to pay for.

edit - is this classic runescape or just an old version of the current one?

If only RS kept the loving GE out, it'd be a different story. The old graphics were more appealing, than the new over detailed stuff.

No this is a different one. The old one (06scape) was shut down.
I doubt this is bannable, since Runescape is free and I'm sure this is being done from scratch, AKA it's not dependent on Runescape.
