Aha, the enemy got stuck on the block
arnt they suppose to be fixing what they have already though
Because fixing stuff is the only stuff they should do.
I am really tired of such comments on games.
Bug fixes are a thing that needs to happen yes, but with patch after patch of bug fixes you are not gonna entertain and keep people interested.
Adding some new stuff is sometimes also necessary to improve on the gameplay.
And not everyone on the team can be put on bug fixing, some are way more proficient at parts that do not need bug fixing.
And developers like to do new, fun stuff every once in a while since they are not robots.
I am not saying the development of Starbound is perfect, but i am so sick of comments like this.
If you don't like how they develop, ignore the game for a long while, check back after a long while.
There is plenty of other stuff probably.
The whole Steam Early Access thing warns you that a game in Early Access might not even be finished.
Of course i understand you expect those games to be finished, but it still is a risk.
Development might be halted or slow (very, very slow), such is the risk of Early loving Access.
Sorry, venting over, continue to tell everyone how bad the development is of this game and ranting and raving about how Chucklefish is evil.
And how my post is missing some important points about how bad it actually is.
FYI, i haven't played the game for a long time now for the same reason, slow development.
I did play one of the earlier versions and had a good time with that and later some mods.
After a while that grew boring a bit and some parts clearly needed refinement to make it more interesting.
I keep track of the development to see how it progresses because that is what i do with a lot of games for no reason.
From what i see, the next stable update i might jump in again to see what changed and how it is now, it seems like they did some good things with combat, monsters and stuff.
Even having vehicles being separate objects instead of like player like things.
