A-Class laser, B-Class torcreepes

Updated OP with crew applicants thus far.

We have more than enough people to fill all of the positions, but a lot of you put duplicates of other's. So as soon as applications close, we'll vote on a captain, and then when we have him/her, I'll talk with the captain and let him/her decide who would be best at what position. You'll hopefully get the one you want, but if not, that's not too big a deal as everyone will be playing the adventure, and your character might not be seen right in the beginning.

Should we create spacesuits for our characters?

Should we create spacesuits for our characters?

Nah, there will be standard issued ones if we need them.

So does turning count as a tick?

Depends, do you mean simply rotating the ship or character?

No, if the ship or player stays on the same square the whole time, it never moves, thus doesn't even require to take an action turn.

You can order a ship facing east to turn to it's right and fire south all in one command.

Like in this case, turning in mid movement would count as a tick?

In the case that the character has to move around a solid object or person, then a turn mid-stride only counts for one tick.

Name: Paaron

Race: Serlec

Skills:
Semi-Aquatic - Serlecs are Semi-Aquatic, allowing them to survive underwater and under high pressures.)
Polarized Vision - Serlecs have polarized vision, so they don't see glares and have better vision in general.
Marksman - Very good with sniper rifles or precision weaponry

Desired Position: Pilot, Second in Command or Weapons specialist
Alignment: Neutral Good
Faction supported: Neutral

Backstory: Paaron worked as a guns specialist and piloting instructor during the civil war. He offered his expertise and trained various Serlec soldiers fighting for either side. Paaron's experience during the war led him to peruse a more interesting job after the war ended.

Personality: Paaron is loud and eccentric. He tends to invade personal space unintentionally. He jokes and roughhouses with friends, and tends to say things so awkward that he makes the whole room go quiet. However, Paaron also looks ahead to the future. He considers all the outcomes of his actions before deciding on a plan. Paaron is very accepting of other alien species, and disapproves of racism.

Flaws/Weaknesses: Paaron cannot survive in very dry or hot environments without his suit. He is weak to electric shocks (his natural brain functions are disrupted by excess electricity), so he wears grounded shoes 24/7, and he has higher risk to dehydration or heat stroke than humans do. He doesn't like talking about himself or his race to people who are non-Serlecs. While Paaron looks at what his actions will cause, he never really thinks about making a plan of how he will preform these actions. Sometimes his plans are illogical or overcomplicated. Paaron will occasionally act before thinking when dealing with small problems. When upset, he prefers solitude.

Updated OP with some new stuff.

Everyone has stats pages and such.

Vote for captain!

Also, you are still free to submit characters technically, it's just that you won't have a chance to play as captain.
