Oh my god..
That's insane..

Literally half the things on that list gives me major anxiety attacks. So much that I have to plug my ears or leave the room.
The worst one for me is chewing / slurping. It KILLS me. I can barely eat dinner with my family without having to leave the table temporarily.

these are called pet peeves and if they're worse than pain for you, you're a pusillanimous individual.

the scraping sounds is a sound that SCRAPES YOUR BRAIN
if that's the main one you don't like, relax, no one likes it

Crying babies. IMO they need a system of communication that doesn't enrage people.

As I've said before, Misophonia is a legitimate disorder. Unless you know how to diagnose it, you most likely don't have it.

Small sounds annoying you IS a normal thing. With Misophonia, it's a lot different than being annoyed by it. If you find yourself going into fits of uncontrollable physical rage when you hear a fork scrape a plate, you might have it.

It's not about being annoyed by it and it's not just getting pissed off.

oh god is this going to be the new dyslexia or the new depression where every single teenager on earth says they have it

do you even colorblindness

Anything that comes out of my two younger siblings makes me want to kill myself. My sis is the whiniest and most annoying 4 year old ever, and my 8yo brother reminds me of myself when I was younger and in my opinion I was pretty annoying. He thinks he's really funny, makes random noises all the time, watches TV every loving minute of the day (the TV in our room is next to my computer), oh, and did I tell you we share a room? He's also been pretty mean to his sister the latest weeks.

I don't have it..

You would not like my house.

How OP describes it sounds exactly like the description of being annoyed, which everyone experiences. It appears that people with Misophonia are not just annoyed, that actually have a panic attack or mental breakdown.
No I think you misunderstand what Misphonia is. If you look at videos and read articles, victims don't always react the same way or have panic attacks or mental breakdowns. Sometimes they react with extreme emotional anger or can be put to tears, but that's not necessarily a direct affect of misophonia. That's just their reaction to it.
Misophonia makes it so that background noises that are normally not annoying, seem unignorable and are extremely irritating. Along with that it can, like I said, physically bother your nerves. When that all suddenly happens at once with little to no way of escape, of course people are going to react with rage and sometimes break down, it's a very intense experience. I don't doubt that a lot of people that believe they have it are exaggerating and really don't, in fact I'm sure of it. But I know I have this. What I experience is not normal

This is directed at Ceist and Fred too btw

Also I'm getting rid of the poll since there's a bunch of people complaining that everyone is going to claim to have this -_-
