Author Topic: North Korea Nuclear Threat  (Read 5021 times)

Considering most of the world doesnt like North Korea, they can have fun with that

except their nukes are 1/3 the size of hiroshima (making them 5 kt) so I doubt any damage they could output would be noticeable
Was just saying, I highly doubt the nuclear fallout from anything they produce would actually produce an EMP effect for larger than a half mile radius

I don't think their nukes would produce enough energy to even distort the magnetic field

Lol

IMO the only thing we need to worry about NK doing is temporarily cutting off the flow of K-Pop, and even then it would probably be a good thing.

They most likely don't have the rockets able to hit the Mainland, but given a little time.. they might have the capability to hit a target closer to their mainland.

West Honolulu of Hawaii, specifically, Pearl Harbor.

highlight of the article

Our missile defense systems could stop a north korean missile, seeing as it would be made of fiberglass and scotch tape. Even if they did try to make more missiles, they would quickly run out of silly string cans to fuel the rockets, and they would fall short of their targets.
i haven't laughed so hard in a long time

at what, the part where he suggests our defenses could stop it or the wording of it

if it's the former, elaborate

if it's the latter, i laughed too

We should be more worried that Tokyo is within their missile range, and happens to have 13 million people.

Japan has a better missile defense system than we do. The US's missile defense system isn't even at 100% capability, it's only working hard enough to shoot down stuff rockets from african pirates. Japan's missile defence system is working hard to make sure they don't have to deal with an ounce of spent russian plutonium and the burning wooden planks that once made up north korea's glorious "Pyongyang penetrator."
