Author Topic: How did Pewdiepie ever become famous?  (Read 6561 times)

Pft, most big-time youtubers suck.

I watch the underdogs.

Like azuritereaction (or rather, "AzuriteYT" now). He doesn't bullstuff with his fears when playing horror games.

ITT: Igloos (passively) bashing PewDiePie in an attempt to look good and recover his reputation.
Just like Setro did with Roblox. Pathetic.

Igloos has and will always be a moron.

etalyx is a good small commentator, he does basically exclusively indie productions that he handpicks, i've always had good luck with him.

azuritereaction

Does not compute.

I was watching azuritereaction when he really was an underdog. Back when he only uploaded Rock Band videos and had about 1000 subscribers.

Does not compute.

What?

Dezmond isn't super popular.

EDIT: I might have used the wrong term. I'm usually bad with words.

Pewdiepie was better half a year back

He has just under 100,000 subscribers. I wouldn't call that an underdog.

Well, compared to people like pewdiepie and whoever else is trending these days, that's not too grand.

Still, you're right.

I need a thesaurus.

Continue? is one of my personal favorites

Yeah, Pewdiepie is pretty awful, General Ironicus (He does let's plays and stuff) made a really good tumblr post about why he's popular though: http://chip-and-ironicus.tumblr.com/post/33796157826/ironicus-reacts-to-the-general-reaction-to-etc

I wouldn't say Game Grumps is even close to Pewdiepie, as they hate Pewdiepie, refuse to do the facecam, and don't really do horror games.  I do have to say they have really gone down in quality lately.

Really, who cares what you watch on Youtube though?

A few girls at my school watch gamegrumps but I get on one of them's nerves like crazy. I don't have to try to be annoying; they're just incensed in seconds of me showing up. It's hilarious.

I must confess that I find PewDiePie funny, but I don't follow him actively because it isn't brain food.
