Author Topic: THE WORST GAME YOU'VE EVER PLAYED?  (Read 14523 times)

Call of Duty: World at War: Final Fronts

yep, that stuffty PS2 port of WaW

Here's a brief list of things I don't like about this game

  • Even for a PS2 game, the graphics are ass
  • Damage is inconsistent, you can literally wade through machine gun fire, wait for your eyes to get less bloodshot for some reason, step out of cover, and get one shot
  • Allies have no pathfinding. Better not stand right up against cover, or else they'll shove you into a grenade on their way to the other piece of cover 10 feet away
  • Guns you pick up will always have full ammunition, and it seems weapon types all have the same amount of reserve ammo, i.e a Thompson will be picked up with 20|400 every time, and an MP40 will always be scooped up with 32|400
  • You know how in every other game in existence, there's some kind of indicator you hit your target, like say a little spurt of blood, they flinch, or they fall back on their ass and get back up? Yeah, that doesn't happen in this game if the target is running, shooting, reloading, crouching, standing, breathing, or existing.

the challenge levels were hard
security hall took me around 20 tries
meteor herd and mad space were hard as balls
time limit mode on radical highway was too
as was "very hard mode"

and other than that the game is quality

the challenge levels were

1. not too hard once you actually put effort in them
2. were god-awful: they were all terribly designed. collect 100 rings while avoiding the never-ending gunfire as eggman or tails! find the lost chao, but you need a million hidden powerups first! time attack was okay, and "hard mode", aka cheap death generator

the game has a lot of flaws. i actually like sa2 and that's probably because it was one of the games i played the most in my childhood, but i can perfectly understand people's criticism on this game. this game was amazing back then: right now, it's okay. this game does have some moments with awful designing but it's not terrible and i don't hate it.

Far Cry 3 was so underwhelming that I'd say it qualifies for me.

I'd say Grand Theft Auto or Sly Cooper Thieves in Time
Don't say it frontrox DON'T

Why Sly?

Nintendo....
(More like Mario, and all other Mario games)

I hate it, is like, you arrive to a loving castle and you need to  arrive to another loving castle, and you repeat doing that.

Burnout Revenge...

Makes me  :panda:

NalNalas is a furry.
He admitted it before.

I'm asking why he hates Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time.

Blockland: You place a brick and you need to place another brick, and you repeat doing that.

Okay yeah I'll agree with the time limited radical highway. That was loving nuts.
You only have about 5 seconds of forgetup time.

So yeah that part was pretty fun. Even though completing it is like an automatic max rank because of how short the time limit is.

So I heard you only played one Mario game.

Mine would probably be APOX Post Apocalyptic Mayhem

:( i bought that too :(
