except we don't know that
no, we do know that. people seem to forget, though, that is only a method of travel by point a to point b. and we've already found other ways.

short version: we need wormholes to "travel faster than light"

forget no. Absolutely wrong. Space-time manipulation. Look it up.

4. Light speed is the true cosmic speed limit, no technology can surpass it, and the universe is too vast to travel across.

I believe it's stupid to assume that all knowledge is bound by human ignorance, and that our arrogance defines what is or isn't real.

Pretty much that.

quantum entanglement is actually what i was referring to, given that in mass manipulation scenarios, moles upon moles of atoms at a time, we can have two end points at any distance that will change identically. really cool stuff man, telecommunications would be absolutely revolutionized.

It's so strange to imagine other life somewhere out in the universe.  and to imagine that maybe they theorize exactly like we do.

a whole civilization we know nothing about :o

I think it's pretty likely that life lives somewhere out there, it wouldn't really make sense that Earth be the only planet with life.  But I don't believe in all the ufo conspiracy garbage like Area 51.  If life exists, they haven't contacted us and we haven't contacted them.  and who knows if we ever will.

I believe that aliens avoid us because they think we're really dumb.

Well, if we assumed that aliens exist and ARE able to monitor us, their technology is obviously way more superior if they're able to monitor us and probably would think we're really dumb lol.

Im Mass Effect, they used Quantum Entanglement to create lagless communication across the vastness of space.

This.

I bet they have visited us.
They just haven't come in contact with us because they are afraid this will happen.
They might as well have visited our planet secretly, brown townysed some people, then goofed off again.

except we don't know that

There are a few theories:

You're right we don't know that.  Didn't say we did.

However, gravity is also just a theory.  Light speed is the fastest speed we know of.

Also, wormholes don't make you travel FTL, they are are tunnels through space.  Shortcuts.

It's statistically improbable for us to be the only sentient life in the universe, but it's also equally as improbable for any human being to have ever encountered such beings

Two words for the same thing. And no, wormholes are not feasable. They aren't stable enough for anything other than a photon to pass through it, and they require infinite-like amounts of energy to create.

They exist, and I'm going to go out there and find them

to explore strange new worlds and seek out new life and new civilizations...
