Author Topic: How IllumiRoom works.  (Read 1346 times)

2 things: it's made to be immersive technology, and it's also optional.
If you don't want it, you wouldn't have to get it.
I realize that its supposed to help with immersion, a problem I don't have. But I still find it ridiculous that they are even developing this.

Besides, by the way it looks, I couldnt use it even if I wanted to.

The only effect I would use is the off-screen effects. Like the bullet flashes and stuff. lol

I think the idea of projecting more content outside of the TV itself would be great as well.
The way they project it makes it look a bit like you are a bit more inside the game instead of just looking at a flat projection.
I think it is pretty cool.

Do you guys even have rooms for this? My tv's are all in positions where this wouldn't work at all.

Yeah, my TV is sitting against the wall on a dresser I think. Unless you have a TV in a cooped up corner with little to no room, wouldn't this work just about anywhere?

My tv is in a 60° angle in a corner next to a bright happy window.
