Maybe because people don't have money to throw at random artists? I fix computers for a living but I haven't had a customer in months. Why? No one wants to pay someone they know nothing about to fix their computer.

I don't mean to be a richard blouk, but it might be the constant negativity as flat mentioned before. Like seriously, nobody likes to be around a debbie downer and the whole "my art sucks" thing only is a plea for attention at this point. Just think positive and maybe people would commission you.
