There's a semi-competitive Smash Brothers tourney in my school's version of field day that I'm hoping to participate in. It's a 3-Stock 3-Minute free-for-all with no restrictions on characters, but specific stages. Should there be room for me (there are two spaces for each team, and idk if any upperclassmen in my team play so i have a small chance of playing), I need some advice. I main as Lucas, and I know he's not the greatest of characters, but there are some really good Lucas players out there and all the other characters feel really wonky for me so. How can I train now that Wi-Fi's gone? Are level 9 CPUs too little of a challenge (I usually equal a level 9 Meta Knight in skill)? I only know of one competitive player at my school, and he mains as Meta Knight, and idk if he's doing this too so I don't even know who I'm up against.
