Author Topic: what do you guys think about the new xbox one?  (Read 3277 times)

PS4 is obviously the better console here.

Never really liked the Xbox anyway.

Apparently, you don't "buy" these games, you "rent" these games, and Microsoft has the right to take the game back from your game library and force you to pay again.

Why don't you go out and count all the countries/states that are annually facing natural disasters like thunderstorms in which a trees could fall on power lines and cut off the electricity from an entire city? What kind of an age we live in if people actually accept the fact that our furniture decide to brick themselves when they aren't fed electricity constantly.
If you're going under a natural disaster why in the hell would an xboxone be the first thing you think of? And if it cut electicity from an entire city, you wouldn't be able to play it anyway regardless of internet or not( unless you really think wasting a generator is worth playing video games when you could use it to power a fridge).

Microsoft literally just announced that there will be no always online and no used game restrictions.
Praise the lord, a scummy company learnt from their mistakes. Still getting PS4 though.

Lol microsoft stated that they have been "listening" to all their feedback. Which is basically 99% of people flaming them.

Thank god they listened. Hopefully not too many people will still go with the ps4 and there's still strong competition.

I'm glad Microsoft learned from their mistakes before they released the console, but something startled me when I learned the news: I play games on my computer and own an Xbox 360, but rarely play it, only to play GTA IV or Red Dead Redemption if I'm bored, and have drifted away from that seeing as I didn't want to renew my Xbox Live subscription; and I was following the PS4 and Xbox One press releases, mocking Microsoft's policies and siding with PS4 even though I didn't have any plans to purchase either console, but when Microsoft released their changes to the Xbox One I subconsciously thought "Oh, I should consider buying that."

Of course I still won't buy it BUT:

What if it was Microsoft's plan all along to create such an unbelievably strict console, then come out with their new lenient changes to reach out to non-console gamers like myself, and secretly implant "Hey, they made the stuffty thing not stuffty, you should look into that" into our minds. Clever clever.
