Author Topic: How will you give your kids the love talk?  (Read 2301 times)

I would just crack a few jokes about it, explain common STDs, explain that their urges are normal, but that having love could drastically change their future. I'd make sure they have contraseptives if I suspect that they are loveually active.

I have a feeling someone is going to say they will have love with their child to show them.
I would just tell them how it happens, normally. They want to know, they want to know, I wouldn't lie.

"Son/Sweetie, do you know how babies are made?"

1. If they (think they) do...
"Yes, dad. I do."
"Oh, really? Tell me what you've learned."
1a. If the information they learned is correct...
"I'm glad to know you've learned the correct stuff about love." ...and then the talk would end there.
1b. If they were taught something that was completely wrong...
"Not one word is correct about that. Now, let me tell you how babies are really made..."
1c. If some information they learned had flaws...
"Actually, let me correct you on some things..."

2. If they didn't know...
"No. Are you gonna tell me?"
"Well, now that you're old enough, I think you're ready to handle this stuff..."

No one told me stuff. Im going to let my kids figure it on their own and through love Ed.

My parents never taught me, my school did, so that's probably how I'll have it for my kids if I decide to have any

incest special interest

given the nature of how i learn about it, and that my parents never actually had to bring it up, i'm going to give them it as early as humanly possible to try and prevent the shellshock of whatever psychotic culture we end up with in a decade

too late

"never use protection, you cant claim anything from the government if there's no baby"
