well even the olympics has games i wouldnt define as sports.
so i guess video games might as well...

though LOL is a pretty gayforget game.

who cares if it's a sport or not, it's about getting visas to move here easily.  It doesn't matter how much skill the game takes to play.  Also, LoL definitely takes more skill than a rhythm game.

i do, like i mentioned before i participate in S5 League (about as professional as a game with a game with 300 players can get) with shampooh, as well as various fighting game tournaments (which again may be a little more out there relative to the topic at hand but relevant enough to mention), and simply put i do not think that "esports" qualify as sports

are we going to ignore that these kind of games are already a sport in some countries

i don't see how that makes it any better
many other totally illogical things are legal in other places

Yeah

Valve made everything except Dota but imo Dota 2 is better than League
