you can now know me as the 700/900 ping man

better than your graphics card being unable to handle the game causing everything to go at about half speed.

thats what the game was like for me before i got a new graphics card and it was horrible.

also, talking to a dude who doesn't play this:

i'm assuming they started their own robot city in the abandoned ship after I killed everyone and jetted.

am I the only one who's attached to the Shockwave Moas that tag along with you?

Oh god I love summoning the shockwave moas from those pods

I just kinda imagine the shockwave moa going "out of the way bitch I got this" as it charges into the battle and stomps the forget out of every grineer/infested in the area.
also Friendly ospreys are pretty cute too

you think they would fix this stuff
but no it happens every loving update (big update)

I have yet to experience any of the problems you've listed. :L
Did the server issues only occur for a short time after the update? I didn't download the update till later.

EDIT: The Stalker just killed me for the third time today, lol

No stuff you got every single person rushing to download the next biggest update. Even big companies run into problems like these. DE mitigates it pretty quickly and efficiently for the company they are.

Have you even read the above?

Anyway, yeah, the update wasn't the fastest, but it didn't take as long as other games.
Also, they kinda broke everything graphical in the update, though they fixed it in the hotfix.
Example:

Chocolate rain and low quality broken ship welder particles.
