Now I'm on the fence as to whether to cancel my pre-order that I paid $47 for or just leave it...

GTA V better have modding support.

Oh my god stop being whiney bitches, just be happy it's coming to PC at all. On top of that, be happy they're actually taking time to make sure it's working right instead of releasing it GTA IV style (aka a disaster at launch).

No, not anymore. When it was still basically just an idea, as far as potential players were concerned, delays were okay. You're not really entitled to anything at that point. But now people have paid for it, and whether you agree with the concept of pre-ordering or not, they're entitled to their copy of the game, and it's entirely reasonable to have complaints about further delays.

joke of the year right here, fellas.

So sick of people saying "Ooooh, if they delay it then that'll mean it'll be less buggy and more polished." No, that isn't the case, go kill yourself. Everyone was looking forward to Watchdogs and used the same logic when that was delayed, now we all know what happened there. This is beyond a joke now, this is the third time they have delayed this. It was bad enough the PC version was announced like a year after the console versions were released, but to not release it with next-gen versions was terrible, but then to delay by two months, then delay it by another two months, and now ANOTHER month again, omfg.
woah man calm down there buddy

i can wait another month, but if its delayed again for 2 months im going to have some complaints, perhaps, we dont know what rockstar is doing to the game right now, they could actually be polishing it

GTAV for PC will be arriving on April 14th at retail and as a digital download. Our apologies to PC gamers worldwide who have been counting down the days until the launch of the game, but a bit more time is needed to ensure that the game is as polished as possible, and to make certain that both Heists and the GTA Online experience are ready to roll out on day one for PC. As a gesture of thanks for your understanding, we will grant anyone who has pre-ordered the game an additional $200,000 in-game cash for use in GTA Online.

call me a sheep or not, im not really giving up hope for the game as of yet because actual progress was made between the previous gen and new gen versions, so im pretty sure there working on it, also rockstar is nothing like ubishill and actually somewhat cares about their community too, so i wouldn't expect them to pull a watchdogs

i don't think you're getting where everyone is coming from, it doesn't take a year and a half to port a game. rockstar knew about the boners the pc community had for this game before 360, ps3 release, but they still waited a year JUST to reveal it. now they have delayed it by half a year, if not longer because i'm expecting another delay now. anyway, i dunno why you're waving that $200,000 in my face, virtual money isn't going to compensate for blue balling me.

oh and to add, you only even get that $200,000 (and all the other pre-order money stuff) if you pre-order. anyone who is smart should be waiting until after the pc release to see if it is a buggy mess before purchasing it.

I guess I'm not smart. I may have saved $14, and I may be able to secure a refund assuming they don't have an embargo until launch, but I'm stupid as stuff for wanting to save money plus get San Andreas for an almost guarantee purchase.

i'm on about the likelihood that this game will be a bugbath, just because max payne 3 was a good port, don't ever forget about the mistake that was gta iv. anyway, in the future you could probably save money by purchasing the game in a steam sale, although you would be correct in assuming it would take several months for gta v to even have a 10% discount.

Gives me some time for some more snow storm money to buy my dream 1.5k computer build :cookieMonster:.

Why do people say this?

It's totally irrelevant whether it arrives on a platform or not if the quality of the port is utter stuff. I'm not going to play GTA V on PC if it's an awful experience just because it's on PC. Right now, it's better to be sceptical rather than be a 100% total fan-boy and get your feelings crushed when it's not as good as advertised.

People need to be critical of games until they're sure that they enjoy the game.

On top of that, be happy they're actually taking time to make sure it's working right instead of releasing it GTA IV style (aka a disaster at launch).
GTA IV had a very similar delay. GTA IV also didn't have microtransactions and there was no preorder bullstuff like they've done with this one.

You are making assessments you can't possibly make without having the game hand. Stop trying to justify a game that hasn't been released yet, and wait until it comes out before telling us how wrong we are for being critical based on Rockstar's history.

i keep forgetting this game exists

they might as well just delay it all the way to 'never'

back to gta 4 again: did absolutely everyone but me have massive issues at launch? I mean, it didnt run 60fps but it sure ran better than consoles and looked a hell of a lot better.
