back to gta 4 again: did absolutely everyone but me have massive issues at launch? I mean, it didnt run 60fps but it sure ran better than consoles and looked a hell of a lot better.

I bought it years after launch (originally bought it on Xbox 360) and I still had issues with the DRM and other technical aspects like how it detected video cards and how it handles LoD meshes.

I haven't finished GTA IV because on PC the last mission is pretty much impossible to complete.

also, until rockstar comes out of limbo, tells us what the forget is going on instead of giving us a number that lets us buy stuff, goes "OH WE NEED THE GAME TO HAVE ANOTHER 3 WEEKS TO POLISH) and tells us what the hell is going on we can consider GTA V a duke nukem forever twin
i love gta v and all and i do have it on ps4 but it'd be great if i could finally get the stuff on PC.

The game comes out on April 14th. I think the heists dropping on the 10th will hold you over until then.

You just need driving skills.
And shooting skills.

And pretty much any kind of skill that GTA normally needs.

Holy forget, I only just released the reason all of this discussion is because the game got pushed back again. All this morning I had just assumed Rockstar was starting up the hype train and so people wanted to talk about it.

Well. Nice to see how Rockstar really commits to their deadlines :) The best fact of this is that it's probably actually hurting Rockstar's profits, because they need to pay their employees for longer.

sucks that it was delayed. i suppose you just have to hope that the end product is satisfactory. hopefully it will be after all this. did they specify why there are additional delays?

Rockstar bought Team Bondi and they were in charge of managing the company. They didn't aside from bitching about every single thing Team Bondi was doing, and eventually took the game, the rights and the money and left Team Bondi to collapse.
