"If you were not engaged in any willful cheating or exploiting yourself, you do not need to worry about getting caught up in our work to separate out cheaters from the rest of the population."

Rockstar is really bad at banning people. I've been modding since october 2013 and never gotten banned on my main account but that was small things like rank and money. If you use a mod menu you'll likely get banned and possibly mac address banned.
