Buy shark cards. Its rockstar s'way to make more money out of the game. Forcing people to grind or pay for the ability to play the game.

I'm not going to give them stuff, I spent a total of 120 dollars for both the PS3 and PS4 versions of the game. I'm not going to pay them 20 dollars for just 1 mil

The people playing Heists are essentially elitist and won't play with anybody under a certain level, so they'll keep kicking you OR they'll launch the mission and then quickly afterwards end it.

Focus on doing Missions. In your phone, go to the Quick Job option and select "Missions" or whatever it's called. People playing missions tend not to care about ranks and the RP/Cash payout works just as well as Heists.

Out of 50 attempts, I've successfully managed to join and play 3 Heist missions, and 2 of those were cancelled half way through because another player (not the host) quit. I was reading the Steam forums and Rockstar community pages and the attitudes are "forget the newbies".
