Want me to tell you how Medusa works? It disguises itself as pieces of programs or as programs themselves, like a virus, but in little pieces, and hidden. These files change their directory several times every second, recode themselves to form more formidable programs, migrate to other devices, or are stored in the cloud. Medusa is encrypted by standard encryption and by changing number bases millions of times. Its code is difficult to crack because of that. Its files stand as sentries. Any attempt to read it or attack it is recorded by the stray files and attacked to better slow the attack down or to gather a lot of data, possibly tracing it to its source to attack. Any attack by Medusa is strengthened by these files providing a gateway. Think of a pitcher plant. Hacking is done over airwaves, landlines, or any other transference method, and the files can be assembled or disassembled at the call of Greater Medusa in East Erinaum. It sows its seed across the world and tells it when to rain. How did I get this technology? Over a century of assembling it deep in the Vålderesk underground. Over a century of engineering this leviathan of a computer, or rather, network.
How to defeat it? Don't use technology. What you don't have can't be stolen. It's a double-edged sword. That's why Medusa is difficult to overcome. In the name of balance, I let Scimitar do its role, and will always let balance occur should the circumstances be within reason. Mystery solved. Ask blazer for confirmation that I didn't make this up on the spot. Trade secret gone global.

You seem to be quite keen with putting the blame on me. I'm not reentering this RP as an active participant for the sole reason of its moderation. I'm going to be blunt. Just step it up. Smart guys cover their ass, and that's precisely what I did in the RP, but when fools start casting their dice, and the only thing by which to follow is their word, there is nothing to gain when their word becomes reality. "Figure it out amongst yourselves" is no help when a roleplay is ridden with ignorance.
Even at the introduction of Gravitanium, I had gone overboard, and HerpaDerp had stopped me. What if he didn't and my ignorant little 15-year old mind went rampant? Even now, I am rethinking the concept of xanionic matter and am putting more and more limitations on it.
I took the training of the Utahn military into account, and as grunter said, their training focus. I blockaded them so that they couldn't settle down and fight harder. I put up defenses so that they would not even come close to achieving their goal. I gave them leeway and let myself take a few losses despite thick defenses. The forces never got Medusa fully up-and-running. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it was at 40-60% capacity. I allowed time between actions so that it would be "fair." Go ahead and say "nice guys finish last" but I tried to keep the RP balanced as much as I could, according to your "you must take losses" rule. I think it's a bit shameful that I had more of a part in moderation while you watched from the sidelines and said that my actions were unacceptable.
I had stated early on that district marshals had begun to be loyal to their districts, and not the State authority. The State authority fell apart, and divided amongst the districts, deserted, or resorted to defending Medusa.
If you don't believe me, then that's fine, and the roleplay will continue as is, but I do not stand alone in my opinions, and I know that there are at least four here who believe me, and only grunter is voicing his opinion on it.
