Author Topic: What would be a video game that you would make?  (Read 4814 times)

One that discourages simply rushing the enemy by making the characters flimsy and weak, often getting mowed down by machine guns before they can take two steps into No-Man's Land?
so basically Rising Storm with 2 trenches

New idea:
Bump because of new idea.

An FPS where the setting is in a VR chamber.

You could change whatever the hell you want, including weapons, enemies, friendlies, vehicles, gravity, time setting, location, and more.
You can even make your own weapons and give them to yourself or to enemies. Same with vehicles.

But every now and then it malfunctions, and randomly changes every setting.
So you could be having a slightly normal realistic gun fight in New York City, and the next thing you know, it malfunctions, and suddenly you're in 1130 B.C. in Antarctica with laser weapons killing Russians who speak Spanish that have RPGs.
There would be an option to turn that off if you want though.
This, but with multiplayer.
No one would be able to change any settings, but the chamber still malfunctions every minute or so, making it interesting.

a sequel to Defcon with more stuff.
like EMPs and MRIV's.

Haven't played defcon in awhile.
And what's a MRIV? I tried google but it won't come up with anything that might be what you're talking about.

Whoops, I meant MIRV.
It's basically a ICBM with multiple warheads that can be targeted to different places.

I would make a video game where it is exactly like our world. However, unlike Second Life or Sims, you can do ANYTHING. You can kill and steal, but there will be users who chose policemen as their profession and they'll hunt you down. There are in-game presidential elections, wars, bankruptcy, and everything you can possibly imagine that happens in real life.

would you like a 1TB hdd with that sir

Bump cause I want to see more ideas.

3d zelda like dungeon hunting game, weapon, clothing and character customization, randomly generated world and monsters.

Yeah, basically. (How much is the entire world in data?)
But I think it can be done for less by implementing a system where the player does not need to download the entire world (like you said, it's too big) but needs to download only the country that his character is at the moment. If he flies on a plane (which would take a lot of money, so the character needs to be well established with good jobs) and goes to another country, just delete the previous country's map and replace it with the new country's.

A game that is like minecraft and spore combined
