Peoples is actually a real word, you can express it as a plural. People can classify as a single group, so peoples express different groups of people.

But now that I think of that, the title probably should have been people's.

actually no, like the people before you said, people is already plural, you cannot add an s to make it even more plural, people's is correct, peoples/peoples' is not.
