Like a real one. Use advertisements that show your enemy negatively, as in the color is all negative. Spam ads everywhere. Brainwash/convince people to vote for you. Lobbying.

As we currently have it, elections span 7 (?) in-game days.  Throughout that week the campaigners (which are players that signup who also have a certain political skill) are able to lobby and pump money into their campaign.  Once the lobbying period is over, the top two (?) campaigners become manorial nominees, upon which the public is able to vote on which nominee should become the next Mayor.

The (?)'s time lengths/amounts are still being worked out so that everything is balanced.

I love the progress so far on this mod, I hope it gets far.

How do you guys think elections should work?
Anyone can run for mayor. They nominate themselves in whatever way. Then, there are different rounds in which players are knocked out of the running each time. It would be kind of like a tournament. If 20 people run for mayor, after the first round there would be 10 people left, then 5, then it would be narrowed it down to 2 players. Then, government positions, like an electoral college, would vote for who they want. Whoever wins that is the mayor. If there is a tie, Blok automatically becomes mayor, regardless if he ran for the position or not.

Crossed out the part I disagree with  :cookieMonster:

Why top two?  Also is there political party creation and party ticketing included?  Anyways, why not any person with a skill can be selected for primaries, and anyone who scores over a certain percentage can run for election.  If there are more than 2 people included after primaries, nominations should narrow it down to 2, and then general election.  This would allow for a wider selection.

This is how I see it.

Remember: you should keep it simple so you don't need a guide to play.
