You know it's one thing to have a private argument and it's another to post it on the forums, that's a little ridiculous but ok.
Typical CityRPG drama right here, folks.
To clarify:
I offered to help Vaux because I sought to see a quality CityRPG that was actually not the same typical bullstuff like the ones that having been going on for years. Vaux never gave me details on what to do, I asked him in the earlier days on what I could do and he told me to wait. I waited for a pretty long time and nothing really happened, he messaged me about it and I asked for details and didn't really get any.
Diggy comes around and I offer him help since I'm not really doing anything with Vaux, Vaux learns I'm helping Diggy and get's upset that I "betrayed" him. I messaged Vaux today asking if I could help, he claims I betrayed him and that I did something wrong. I got angry and called AdinX a poor builder because I have a right to an opinion and I've seen Adin for a while hopping from one CityRPG to another so I don't think much of the guy.
Hopefully that cleared some stuff up, I really didn't think you would bring this to the forums because I thought we were both going to walk our separate ways, but it looks like you're just trying to stir a storm.
Bullstuff. I messaged you numerous times trying to get you to present a schematic, layout, ideas, anything pertaining to the design of the city. You either gave an excuse that you couldn't be bothered to do so at the time, or you were AFK. A while later, when you got interest again, you starting messaging me for details on the city, which I replied with some basic design plans that you could work with -- 3 Areas, one for Residential, Commercial, and Industrial. The setting would be in-between the shoreline and mountains, and the roads would be 32x. I believe anyone could make do with that description. Adin sure did, and you could too. But, at this time, even after I gave you those details, you did nothing. Completely threw it aside.
Skipping ahead 2-3 weeks, I learned that Derroith had abandoned building the CityMod map at the first chance he got, and went on to help Diggy with his map. I brushed it aside (with some contempt of course because you had made a commitment to CityMod) and went to look for a new builder. I then found one. Live and let live...
Adin approached me with the idea that he could build the city, and being as I was without a builder, I happily accepted. I gave Adin some essentials designs that needed to be implemented into the city, and he began work designing a layout.
Several days later, Derroith learns of this new partnership and finally messages me back asking once more for layout details. I informed him that I had found a new builder that I was happy with, and Derroith immediately started spurting out degrading comments against Adin's building skills, even though he never saw his work... I offered Derroith a spot as a builder, but he refused, saying, "I would never work with Adin". Derroith's pride got in the way of him, and he started throwing a hissy fit, upon which he defriended and blocked me (Not that that matters at all).
I wish it didn't have to end this way, Derroith, but you made it this way. You can't just hop from responsibility to responsibility when the opportune moment shows itself and then get pissy at being replaced from your old position because you bailed on said project.
That's just my 2 Cents on the whole issue.
Now, if you want to continue this Drama, take it out of this thread. We have a whole board full of this junk.
